Ovation - Celebrity Elite Series Acoustic/Electric Guitar (Left-Handed, Black) #CE44L-5
Styled in a sleek black finish, Ovation's Celebrity Elite Series CE44L-5 is a left-handed acoustic/electric guitar featuring a single-cutaway, mid-depth Lyrachord body with a solid spruce top and quarter-sawn scalloped "X" bracing. If projection on a stage is your primary goal, then this acoustic/electric guitar is more than up for the job: the round-backed body, resonant spruce top, and unconventional soundholes facilitate clarity, balance, and power. Aiding in the aesthetics are multi-wood epaulets around the soundholes, as well as black binding. A rosewood bridge rounds out the body. Its neck boasts a 10" radius, 20 fully accessible frets—23 for the high E string—and a rosewood fingerboard adorned with pearloid dots. Furthermore, a set of chrome die-cast tuners secure the strings at the headstock.
Turn your attention this guitar's built-in electronics. The CE44L-5 is equipped with an Ovation Slimline pickup and OP-4BT preamp system, which sports a three-band EQ, a volume control, a low battery indicator, and an onboard tuner to boot. This setup conveys the commanding acoustic tone Ovation is known for.
